If you have not already chosen one of our floor plans, our New Home Consultant can help you find the one that best fits you and your family based on your lifestyle, budget, and preferred features. Once you have selected your floor plan, the next step is choosing your site within one of the stunning Cook Bros. Homes' communities.
Once you have chosen the floor plan and site location for your new home in Knoxville, TN, our New Home Consultant will guide you through personalization options to make it your own.
Once all decisions have been made, you will be provided with a personalized investment amount that includes all costs for your selected floor plan and structural choices. This gives you the opportunity to review your investment and make sure everything aligns with your homeownership goals. It is important to confirm that everything in the document is correct, as future changes to structural elements will impact the investment amount.
It’s time to make everything official! You’ll sign the necessary paperwork, including Cook Bros. Homes’ Building Specifications, Floor Plans, Structural Options, and your Purchase Agreement. The agreement will outline the payment schedule, and you’ll be asked for an initial nonrefundable deposit at this time.
Your New Home Consultant will walk you through what to expect during construction, answer any remaining questions, and review the communication process moving forward. After signing, your Design Selections Coordinator will contact you within 72 hours to schedule your appointment at our Home Design Studio.
At your Design Studio appointment, you’ll meet with your Selections Coordinator in our state-of-the-art 3,000 square-foot space. Here, you’ll make all your interior design selections, including cabinets, countertops, plumbing, lighting, flooring, paint colors, and other details that shape the look and feel of your new home in Knoxville, TN.
Before breaking ground, our Pre-Construction Specialist, Design & Selections Coordinator, and Project Superintendent meet to review the specifics of your project and ensure everyone is aligned. This is where the magic starts!
Next, we submit your building permit package and construction drawings for approval, ensuring everything is in place to proceed smoothly.
Once everything is approved, your Project Superintendent will coordinate with our Preferred Trade Partners to begin construction. Orders for materials are placed, and scheduling begins to get your home built!
As construction nears completion, your Project Superintendent will guide you through your home’s final touches. You’ll receive a full home orientation to familiarize yourself with all the features and systems of your new home in Knoxville, TN.
At closing, you’ll receive executed paperwork and a detailed Residential Construction Performance Guidelines handbook. Of course, we’ll hand over the keys to your beautiful new home, marking the beginning of a new chapter!
